Whether you dream of a romantic Waltz, a passionate Latin dance, a stylish Foxtrot, a dramatic Tango, a fun Jive, or a unique combination, we will create a routine that reflects your personality, your music, and your story as a couple.
Our aim is simple — for you to feel confident, relaxed, and look fantastic on the dance floor, while enjoying the experience together.
A Personal & Supportive Approach
We specialise in teaching couples in a friendly, relaxed, and supportive environment. You don’t need any previous dance experience — we will guide you step-by-step, at your own pace.
To ensure you gain the best possible experience and results, wedding dance lessons are available to couples who attend a minimum of 3 months of our regular Thursday evening Ballroom & Latin classes.
This allows you to build confidence, learn essential foundations, and feel comfortable dancing together before creating your personalised routine.
Private lessons for your wedding dance take place on Wednesday evenings in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
Spaces are limited and advance booking and payment are required.
Your Wedding Dance Journey
We recommend:
• Attending at least 10 group classes to develop your basic skills
• Followed by private lessons to create and refine your choreography

The more we thought about doing a choreographed dance for our wedding, the more it seemed like a great idea. We decided to go along to Live Wire to give dancing a shot (as we had never done any Ballroom or Latin before).
After the first session, we knew the idea was definitely a go-er and we booked some private lessons with Sarah. At first, we were daunted by her choreography – our choice of wedding song was a bit pacier than traditional first dances – but with her patience and encouragement we began to love our Charleston-Rock and Roll-Quickstep-Salsa-Lindyhop-Tango-Samba combo.
Performing the dance was an amazing experience and definitely a highlight of the day; we are so glad we had Sarah to help us and would thoroughly recommend it!

I have danced a bit, but my husband had never danced before and was a bit nervous.
Sarah and Elizabeth listened to what we liked and tailored the dance to suit us. They videoed themselves doing the dance steps so we could practice at home, they coached us at lessons and provided loads of support. We even performed the dance to Sarah’s class which was good practice for the wedding.
My husband was able to do something he never thought he would be able to do and he even enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed our weekly dance classes with Live Wire, so when we got engaged, it was a natural follow on that we would ask for our first dance to be choreographed by Elizabeth and Sarah. They went to a lot of trouble to put in steps they knew we loved from classes and it suited us to perfection.
